Four types of industrial electrical connectors

1. Threaded connection

Some types of connections are commonly used for electrical connectors with larger contacts and operating in high vibration environments. This type of connection can be fitted with a fuse to prevent loosening after the connection is completed. The connection form is reliable but the connection speed is slow.

2. Bayonet connection

It is a reliable, fast form of connection and separation. Most electrical connectors in the form of card 121 connections have a visual display of proper connection and locking, and can be seen from a small hole on the side of the electrical connector connection nut.

3. Straight-in connector

This is a versatile form of connection. When the plug and socket of the electrical connector are connected and disconnected, the direction of movement is usually reciprocating linear movement, no need to twist and rotate, only a small working space can be completed loading and unloading. Common plug-in connections are spherical or needle-shaped. Since there is no mechanical labor-saving mechanism in the connection form, the mechanical resistance increases significantly and can be detected in time once the error is inserted.

4. Electrical connector cabinet connection mode

This is an electrical connector used on some devices that requires a blind connection near the frame. It can make electrical equipment lighter, smaller, easier to maintain and more reliable.

This type of connection prevents the operator from feeling the connection. It is necessary to design an accurate positioning device to avoid forcing misinserted electrical connectors together so that they cannot be misinserted. Cabinet electrical connectors are usually designed with floating or elastic contacts to ensure proper connection.
